The Positive Postcard series is one of my favourite personal projects.  I set my own brief to create a series of postcards that featured my favourite empowering quotes while including my colourful and bold style. Previously, my projects featured nude figures and body acceptance themes, for this project I wanted to move slightly away from this by using the empowering themes but without nude figures making the artwork more accessible.

Each artwork was hand painted using acrylic gouache and then digital details were added afterwards in Procreate.

The series of postcards has gone on to feature as a product in Meg's shop and the painting process was also featured on Pinterest in video format.
